AI experimentation is accelerating across architecture practices, but turning promising use cases into lasting business value requires more than adopting the right tools. As exploration matures into operations, the unit of decision expands from the individual use case to the practice as a whole, shaping how the firm works, learns, and evolves.

This session considers how architecture firms can navigate that transition with a more strategic, systems-level approach to AI adoption. Drawing on principles from strategy, design, and systems thinking, we’ll examine how to identify meaningful opportunities, understand the workflows and dependencies surrounding them, and evaluate AI interventions based on the value they create, not simply the tasks they accelerate. Participants will leave with a practical approach for prioritizing opportunities, designing more cohesive workflows, and building the organizational capacity to adapt as the technology continues to evolve
