Architects as Change Agents: Using our Skills to Strengthen Communities

Presented by Abby Dacey, AIA, NOMA, Mahlum Architects and Chandra Robinson, AIA, NOMA, Chromatografica, LLC.
CE Pending

Architects are uniquely positioned to navigate complex systems and translate shared values into the built environment. Not every opportunity to make an impact arrives through traditional project work. We have a responsibility to engage with our communities to shape what gets built, who gets to build it, and how these projects can transform Oregon.

In this interactive session, Chandra and Abby will share their personal inspirations and professional paths, illustrating how architects can purposefully extend their expertise into civic leadership, advocacy, and community impact. Participants will develop actionable plans for advocacy rooted in their individual expertise and geographic area.
