2+2 THE OREGON WAY

This session is patterned after the College of Fellows '2+2 Achieving Design Excellence' break out session held annually at the AIA Conference on Architecture. Two AIA Oregon Fellows working outside boundaries of traditional practice & two Oregon emerging professionals/young architects recognized for their work/design excellence will share recent work & unique perspectives on achieving outstanding design work impacting their communities.

Presentations will convey how to achieve design innovation, focusing on building, environmental, & social performance. Inquiry will explore the interests of clients, occupants, and communities; how to elevate the community experience through thoughtful design excellence; positively addressing climate change through design excellence; and thriving and succeeding as a practitioner.
